Not Real History

As we bid farewell to the year 2023 and welcome the New Year with felicitations and good fortunes, it becomes increasingly apparent to those with a penchant for history that feudalism may indeed represent the natural order in the organization of society. Though perhaps not the most efficacious or stirring of systems, it stands as a standard of stability.

Consider the perpetual conflict we witness throughout history: in ancient lore, deities clashed, as did Shiva and Vishnu, signifying a transient hierarchy of power. Such titanic struggles are not the bedrock of historical constancy; rather, they pave the way for eventual victors to reshape order in their likeness.

There exists a liberal presumption regarding the political sphere, envisioning politicians and their lobbyist choirs engaging in metaphorical street dances of rivalry, or the Marxist narrative of class struggle and the inherent contradictions within a political-economic framework.
